    Cinema has evolved a lot during the last years. We have changed black and white movies to high definition ones. It is completely different to what it was before! Technology has evolved with cinema, allowing directors to improve the visual quality of their works with special effects. One of the genres which has evolved the most is cartoon movies.

     A few years ago, cartoon movies were just a way to keep your children entertained, just a handmade film for kids. But nowadays, they´re more than that. Today, cartoon movies are made with computers, and they have really detailed models with lots of effects which let us have a really different experience than the "real films".

    The topics of these films have changed a lot too. If we see a Disney film from about 20 years ago, we can see that most of them talk about a princess being saved by a beautiful prince. However, nowadays Disney has evolved and is trying to explore different topics: feelings, racism, equality, etc 

    Personally, I love animation films. I think they offer a really different experience that a real film can´t offer, making you feel things you couldn´t with other genres. This is added to the notalgia factor, which makes us remember our younger times. This, added to the topics that they can teach to the kids, leaves us a genre with an incredible potential.
